How long does it take to work?
Hi: I am new to this board. I've had crohn's colitis for 8 years, been on everything --- bad bad reactions to many medications including asacol and 6mp. I just started Humira two weeks ago (did my second injection last night), and was wondering how it takes to kick in. I know they say 2 weeks to 3 months, but am wondering how long it took for others. Getting very sick of waiting and wondering if I should go back on Pred while waiting, but Yuk! Thanks for your replies. Debbie

I started Humira 2 weeks ago tuesday and i'm already feeling relief. The level of Pain has been cut in half and i'm not having as many attacks. I know it's different for ever one but it's working well for me.

I started Hunira 2 months ago for crohn's arthritis and i am already 75% pain free. It's working great for me. Everybody has a different response to meds of course because of our different chemistries. give it some time. I hope it works as well for you as me.'
thanks,
pat

I started Humira last week. No change yet in my symptoms. Hoping it starts working soon!

Dreams?
I've been on Humira now for a month. Finally feeling some relief, although I'm still very tired by evening. Has anyone experienced unusual dreams since starting this med? I'm having lots of dreams (like movies!) which I didn't have prior to this.

I began to take in January 2008 and it started working within 10 days and kicked Cronh's almost overnight. No real side effects to speak of. I must say that I am also on Methotrexate as well, but I am pretty sure it is the Humira that is doing most of the work.
