Hey everyone, my name is Claudia and I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease last year and my doctor is prescribing me to humira. I'm a little nervous, what is everyone's experience on this? Thank you for your input!
I am in the same position as Claudia. I've had crohn's disease for a year now and i have been cycling on meds for a while. It's extremely frustrating. Now they are putting me on Humira and I will be devastated if it doesn't help me. Is there anyone out there going through what I am? I could really use some support
I know how confusing the meds can be and scary at the outlook...but hang in there. Start with the oral meds first and then to anything stronger. I was fine for about 3 yrs and then needed remicade for the past 3 yrs but now i am decreasing oral meds and doing fine. It is funny how crohns can fluctuate.
